Using RSS

At the bottom of my page you will find my RSS feed. I chose to use USA Today to host my educational links feed. As I was browsing through various links I did read some interesting articles about creative teaching methods and ideas being used around the country. I believe these sites will keep me updated on what is going on in the education field and maybe even spark some creativity and ideas in me that I can use once I become a teacher.
For my technology feed I chose CNN's technology RSS feed. I chose CNN because of all the technology feeds I ran into none of them really had information or topics that I didn't already know about. CNN posts new updated information constantly. I believe they'll do a good job of keeping me well informed on all the newest technology trends out there.
For one of the feeds of my choice, I chose to use Health.com. Obviously I chose this to keep myself updated on what’s going on in our world of health because it is something I like to keep up with. The other feed of my choice was Cosmopolitan's Hair and Beauty feed. I'm a girl and just because I'm in the army and brought up to be tough and all, does not mean that deep down inside me I don’t still have that girly-girl side of me there. ;p Yeah, I still like to dress up and try to look somewhat cute when I can, this feed will definitely help me keep up with the latest fashion trends out there. For my last one I chose to use AP Science News.com because science is something that has ALWAYS interested me somehow. It’s really neat to see how the world has changed and continues to change by the works of science. There's so much going on in the world of science that we don't even know about yet.
Hopefully this feed will keep me as current as possible on all the happenings in the world around us. Be sure to check out my RSS sites down at the bottom of my page. Hope you enjoy! :]

  1. Great sites! :) I also used CNN's technology site. Isn't it crazy how often it updates?
